Business
Business is the activity of making one's living or making money by producing or buying and selling goods or services. Simply put, it is "any activity or enterprise entered into for profit. It does not mean it is a company, a corporation, partnership, or have any such formal organization, but it can range from a street peddler to General Motors." The term is also often used colloquially (but not by lawyers or public officials) to refer to a company, but this article will not deal with that sense of the word.
International
International mostly means something (a company, language, or organization) involving more than a single country. The term international as a word means involvement of, interaction between or encompassing more than one nation, or generally beyond national boundaries. For example, international law, which is applied by more than one country and usually everywhere on Earth, and international language which is a language spoken by residents of more than one country.
International Business
International business consists of trades and transactions at a global level. These include the trade of goods, services, technology, capital and/or knowledge.
Marketing
Marketing is the study and management of exchange relationships. Marketing is used to create, keep and satisfy the customer. With the customer as the focus of its activities, it can be concluded that Marketing is one of the premier components of Business Management - the other being innovation.
Marketing
I believe we are born with our minds open to wonderful experiences, and only slowly learn to limit ourselves to narrow tastes. We are taught to lose our curiosity by the bludgeon-blows of mass marketing, which brainwash us to see "hits," and discourage exploration.
Roger Ebert in: Jonathan Silverman, ‎Dean Rader (2005), The world is a text, p. 315
Business
I never can make out how it is that a knight-errant does not expect to be paid for his trouble, but a peddler-errant always does.
John Ruskin, The Crown of Wild Olive: Three Lectures on Work, Traffic, War (1866), p. 127.
Business
However successful a man may be in his own business, if he turns from that and engages ill a business which he don't understand, he is like Samson when shorn of his locks his strength has departed, and he becomes like other men.
P. T. Barnum, 'Beware of Outside Operations', The Art of Money Getting (1880).
